Manama, March 12 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, sent a cable congratulating His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the adoption of a UN Security Council resolution denouncing Iran’s unlawful and unjustified attacks on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

The Minister emphasized that the accomplishment is a source of pride and honor and demonstrates His Majesty the King’s leadership and strategic vision. He pointed out that it has reinforced Bahrain’s standing as a dependable ally in international initiatives to advance peace and security and bolstered its diplomatic representation in international fora, such as the UN Security Council.
The Minister also emphasized Bahrain’s position as a reliable ally that actively supports international programs meant to advance world peace and security.
Dr. Al Zayani continued, “This international accomplishment, spearheaded by the Kingdom of Bahrain on behalf of the GCC states and Jordan during its current membership in the UN Security Council and chairmanship of the GCC, reflects the Kingdom’s high standing on the global stage.” He added that it also shows Bahrain’s dedication to international collaboration, diplomacy, and coordinated efforts to advance global security, stability, and peace.
The Minister wished HM the King good health and continued advancement and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its citizens under His Majesty’s direction.
