Civil Service Bureau: Updates on remote work policy, limiting office attendance to 50% and maintaining emergency readiness

The Bureau emphasized that in order to ensure work continuity, government entities must communicate with it to identify the proper attendance levels for each entity or the necessity of returning to the workplace depending on job requirements. The jobs and workers covered by this cap will be specified by each organization.

In order to improve preparedness for emergencies, the Bureau’s guidelines emphasize adherence to directives from pertinent authorities concerning alert systems, safety precautions, workplace preventive measures, and evacuation plans, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, to guarantee the security of workers and guests.

The guidelines also mandate that each government agency designate a team to coordinate with pertinent authorities when necessary, carry out awareness and training programs to enhance staff preparedness for various scenarios in accordance with established emergency plans, and submit weekly reports to the Civil Service Bureau to track preparedness and adherence to safety protocols.
