Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): The third “Future Bet” program’s concluding ceremony was attended by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development’s (BIPD) Board of Trustees.

Through practical experience in decision-making and legislative bodies, constructive dialogue with officials, and skill development in an appropriate setting, the program seeks to prepare a generation of parliamentary-aware youth to be active contributors to nation-building and achieving the Kingdom’s aspirations in accordance with the constitution and national principles.
In keeping with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision, which emphasizes the importance of youth in continuing Bahrain’s developmental path, Dr. Al Rumaihi reiterated that investing in Bahraini youth is a cornerstone of national progress and establishing a more prosperous future.
He pointed out that since its founding, the BIPD has given Bahraini youth training and qualification programs in a variety of activities, strengthening their involvement in decision-making processes and consolidating national political awareness.
Dr. Al Rumaihi expressed gratitude to Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam for his ongoing support of the Institute’s initiatives as part of their strategic alliance. Additionally, he praised Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, for his support of the program’s third phase and provision of facilities that made the parliamentary simulation session a success.
The Chairman also expressed gratitude to the ministries and high-ranking officials who took part in the program, stressing that their presence gave young people a crucial chance to voice their concerns and ask questions.
In addition to helping participants comprehend the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and connect them to Bahrain’s economic vision, the “Future Bet” program aims to increase national awareness, instill a reformist and constitutional approach, and strengthen their leadership, teamwork, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
Throughout the program, participants were recognized for their quality, dedication, and active participation, underscoring their potential to assist the country’s path and make valuable contributions to public service.
