Manama, October 14th (BNA): Under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s patronage, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf, has opened registration for the 30th edition of the Bahrain Grand Holy Quran Award, which will be held on October 14-30.

The prize has seven primary categories that include memorisation, recitation, and performance, and it is open to men and women of all ages, including students, people with impairments, inmates, and non-Arabic speakers.
The prize, now in its 30th year, demonstrates Bahrain‘s dedication to cultivating a culture based on the values of the Holy Quran and encouraging the concepts of faith, understanding, and moderation among the younger generation.
