The curriculum teaches children a variety of financial literacy words, helps them recognize the need of saving and financial planning, and assists them in identifying different financial payment methods, such as debit and credit cards, cash, and checks.
The Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, HH Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, expressed her pride in carrying on this significant educational program since it empowers young children, helps them become financially literate and competent, and prepares them for future careers—all of which are essential components of INJAZ Bahrain’s mission.
Over 49,000 students in 617 private and public schools have benefited from the Smart Investor Program over the last seven years, according to Bahrain Bourse CEO Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa. He emphasized that giving pupils financial knowledge is crucial for helping them navigate the challenging economic climate of today.
The curriculum uses interactive educational activities to teach children the fundamentals of saving and managing their finances, encouraging them to make wise financial choices. Thinking, Specifying, Planning, Execution, Saving, Progression, and Evaluation are among the seven topic sessions that make up this curriculum.
In order to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, the fourth edition of the Smart Investor Program, which was implemented during the 2018–2019 academic year, included a national competition.
The Ministry of Education was thanked by Bahrain Bourse and INJAZ Bahrain for its vital role in guaranteeing the program’s success. Additionally, Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation) and National Bank of Kuwait-Bahrain were acknowledged as Silver Sponsors of the 2025–2026 Smart Investor Program.
