Manama, Jan. 20 (BNA): A partial evacuation exercise was successfully completed, according to Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and controlling body of Bahrain International Airport, in cooperation with Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs. The purpose of the exercise was to make sure that all emergency response teams were at the greatest level of preparedness and to thoroughly test the efficacy of the airport’s emergency evacuation protocols.

Personnel from BAC, Gulf Air Group, Airport Police, the Executive Office of the National Disaster Committee, Bahrain Customs Affairs, Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), and Bahrain Airport Services coordinated their efforts during the exercise, which demonstrated outstanding teamwork.
During a simulated emergency situation, the simulation offered priceless insights into operating procedures, communication protocols, and coordination mechanisms. The success of the drill was largely dependent on the smooth collaboration of all parties concerned.
The safety of passengers, employees, and stakeholders continues to be the primary concern, according to Mohamed Yousif Alsayed, Vice President of Airport Emergency Services, Health, Safety, and Environment at BAC. He stated that carrying out thorough drills is crucial to preserving operational excellence and emergency readiness, adding that the exercise put current plans to the test under duress and reinforced alliances that are essential to guaranteeing a prompt and efficient reaction to any possible incident at Bahrain International Airport.
This program is a key part of BAC’s continuous strategy to assess, improve, and strengthen its security and safety procedures while upholding its dedication to upholding the highest international standards.
