Ambassador to US attends relaunch of Gulf Air direct flights to New York
Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid emphasized that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain is strengthening its international partnerships through an open policy and the expansion of global air connectivity.
He explained that the relaunch is more than just reopening a route; it is a bridge across the Atlantic that unites peoples, economies, and cultures, building on a century-long historical legacy between Bahrain and the United States.
The Ambassador further stated that the flights will create possibilities to strengthen cooperation and community links, giving American enterprises more access to Gulf markets while allowing Bahraini and regional industries to benefit from US innovations and investments. He also stated that the service will make travel easier for students and families.
