Dec. 9, Manama (BNA): StartUp Bahrain, the Kingdom’s top national platform for developing businesses, held the 22nd edition of StartUp Bahrain Pitch as part of its continuous efforts to improve the entrepreneurship ecosystem for companies.

“Servable”, “Loyale” crowned winners of 22nd StartUp Bahrain Pitch

In keeping with initiatives to encourage innovation among Bahraini youth and strengthen the role of entrepreneurship in the country’s economy, the event was sponsored by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” and organized in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, and the Bahrain Development Bank.

Leading authorities and seasoned investors in entrepreneurship, such as Arwa Shafi, Investor Relations Lead at Oqal Angel Investors Network; Hamad AlFahad, Executive Director and Managing Partner at Tajawoz; and Laith Al Khalili, Associate Director at Mumtalakat, comprised the judging panel for the event.

A number of Bahraini companies were also present at the event, such as “Invo Pos Technologies,” a subscription-based point-of-sale system that streamlines operations, sales, and customer interaction by integrating back-office, staff, and customer-facing capabilities. “BD Kidz,” a platform that offers integrated digital solutions for kindergartens, including attendance tracking, child monitoring, improved parent-communication channels, and organizing daily routines, and “Right Calories,” a business that specializes in offering subscription packages for healthy meals, also took part.

Additionally, “Servable” stood out as a platform that guarantees the highest standards of governance, information security, data privacy, and control over operating costs while enabling businesses to develop cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions, such as automated financial reporting, predictive analytics, and intelligent customer interaction. The “Loyale” software, which combines loyalty points from several retail locations into a single, user-friendly platform, was also on display during the event.

The winners of this edition were revealed, with “Servable” taking first place and “Loyale” taking second, following the judging panel’s evaluation of the competing entrepreneurs’ businesses.

According to Mohamed Al Derazi of Servable, winning first place in the Startup Bahrain Pitch is indicative of the platform’s ability to assist innovators and new initiatives. According to him, the accomplishment marks a turning point for the business, offering assistance that fortifies its aspirations and moves it closer to its long-term objectives.

Loyale’s Sayed Ahmed Al Marzooq expressed gratitude, pointing out that the team’s involvement in the Startup Pitch allowed them to showcase their product to a prestigious group of professionals and investors and created new avenues for engagement with other business owners. Additionally, he expressed his appreciation to Tamkeen, the judging panel, and the partners for their ongoing assistance in enhancing the event’s function as a launching pad for entrepreneurs.

This support is in line with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities for 2025, which include improving Bahrainis’ standing and competitiveness in the private sector, giving Bahrainis the skills they need to advance their careers in the private sector, giving enterprise growth, digitization, and sustainability top priority, and fostering the growth of the ecosystem surrounding the private sector and labor market.
