Dec. 7, Manama (BNA): Leading and mentoring companies participated in the third edition of the “Digital Business Champions Overseas Programme for Companies and Factories,” which was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with Export Bahrain and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).
Industry and Commerce Ministry launches 3rd Digital Business Champions Overseas Programme
The program aids in the Ministry’s endeavors to grow the digital commerce industry and strengthen its position in the digital economy. The program’s objectives are to encourage digital transformation, prepare businesses and factories to embrace digital practices, and increase exports through digital trade.
Over 170 participants from over 96 companies attended the first two sessions, according to Maram Mukhtar Al Mahmeed, Director of the Information Systems Directorate. A specialized export mentorship session by Export Bahrain will be included in the new edition, which will include factories, highlighting the sector’s significance to economic growth.
Expert-led mentorship workshops on digital trading and exporting, covering best practices, obstacles, online store development, marketing, logistics, policies, and intellectual property protection, will also be provided by the program.
