In order to accomplish its strategic goals, the forum will emphasize international participation. It will bring together approximately 200 guests, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, business leaders, global investors, and government officials to promote and form partnerships around the Gulf’s valuable investment opportunities.

The forum, which has as its theme “Rethinking Global Investment for New Trade Dynamics,” offers a venue for showcasing the Kingdom’s strategic initiatives and strengthening global collaboration. Senior government representatives and several organizations from Bahrain’s business, investment, and industry sectors assist the Bahrain Economic Development Board in organizing it. The Gulf region’s economic revolution will be highlighted at the event; its GDP is currently above USD 2 trillion and is predicted to reach USD 6 trillion by 2050.

Over 86% of Bahrain’s GDP comes from non-oil sectors, creating a highly diverse investment climate that presents international investors with competitive chances for long-term expansion and company development.

The announcement of investments and strategic agreements totaling more than USD 12 billion was one of the many outcomes of the previous Gateway Gulf, which took place in 2024. In addition to showcasing investment-ready projects from throughout the Gulf and cultural and social events that highlight Bahrain‘s unique business and social landscape, the 2025 edition will have a focused agenda that will benefit attendees through pre-arranged discussion sessions, one-on-one meetings with investors, and other engagements.

In a series of discussion sessions, ministers and senior executives will meet to discuss potential opportunities and identify areas for cooperation. The forum will cover important regional and local trends and opportunities, such as digital transformation, energy transition, and sustainability, as well as promising prospects in important sectors like financial services, ICT, industry, logistics, and tourism.
