September 9, Manama (BNA): The Good Conduct Certificate services have been added to the MyGov application, which is accessible to the public via the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps, by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority, according to a statement released by the Interior Ministry.
Introduction of Good Conduct services via MyGov application
In addition to displaying general information about the service, the digital services package includes the ability to request Good Conduct Certificates for citizens and residents, request certificates for non-Bahrainis from outside the Kingdom, request status inquiries, and verify the validity of certificates for institutions.
The directorate encouraged Good Conduct service recipients, such as employees and students, to use the services on the MyGov app and electronically submit their requests in an easy-to-use and straightforward way. Additionally, it emphasized how crucial it is that applicants use the updated eKey 2.0, which is accessible at bahrain.bh/apps.
Additionally, it called on GCC nationals and foreigners who had previously lived in Bahrain for six months or longer and who had a valid ID card number and fingerprints registered with the Interior Ministry during that time to apply for their certificates electronically through the MyGov application. This service is intended for foreigners living outside of the Kingdom.
In accordance with the government’s directive to integrate digital platforms and improve the MyGov application with more priority services for users, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science confirmed that the addition of this services package to the application falls within the framework of a collaborative effort with the Information & eGovernment Authority. In order to increase performance efficiency, it also praised the Authority’s efforts to advance digital transformation and upgrade government services.
It is noteworthy that users can obtain Good Conduct services through the national portal bahrain.bh or by installing the MyGov application, which is accessible on the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps. At the moment, the app provides over 80 functions and government services. Users can submit comments and ideas through the Tawasul application or the National ideas and Complaints System Tawasul, or they can call the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001 for further information and questions regarding these digital services.
