Derasat Center launches ‘Non-Resident Fellowship’ programme
The CEO went on to say that think tanks are strong because of the variety of their research networks and their ability to draw in innovative individuals. According to him, the recently started initiative seeks to create a long-lasting collaborative ecosystem that can produce a wide range of creative ideas and provide in-depth studies that closely monitor global changes and promote sustainable growth avenues.
Through the Non-Resident Fellowship, a prestigious group of academics and researchers from Bahrain and elsewhere participate in the Center’s research activities and results without having a formal job contact. This broadens the scope of possible collaborations, increases Derasat’s receptivity to a range of knowledge, and expands on best practices used globally in top think tanks. The program participates in intellectual events, broadens the expert network, enhances scientific output, and offers top-notch advising services to a range of industries.
The program focuses on experts in the fundamental areas of the Center’s work, such as economics, energy, the environment, and strategic and international affairs, both domestically and internationally. This guarantees a range of skills in line with regional and national agendas. Clear academic and professional standards, such as having a Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant discipline and a noteworthy research and professional record that indicates real-world experience and strong intellectual contributions, are prerequisites for admission to the program. This enhances the Center’s intellectual output and adds value to the involvement of non-resident researchers.
