BENEFIT, ATME announce sponsorship of Fintech Forward 2025
FinTech Forward’s third edition will be held at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) from October 8 to 9. This year’s forum, which is hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), will provide a vibrant setting for showcasing innovation, encouraging teamwork, and investigating new prospects in the local and international fintech markets.
BENEFIT continues to show its leadership in creating Bahrain’s digital economy as a gold sponsor. BENEFIT has been instrumental in advancing financial inclusion, modernizing the Kingdom’s payments infrastructure, and bringing cutting-edge solutions that improve transaction security, ease, and accessibility over the years. Among its accomplishments include the development of digital goods that bolster Bahrain’s competitive edge as a fintech hub, the advancement of open financial services, and the pioneering of the nation’s National Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFTS). According to BENEFIT’s most recent announcement, the company logged over 242.7 million transactions in the first half of 2025, totaling BHD 18.2 billion in electronic financial transactions. This is an 11% increase over the same period the year before.
The Central Bank of Bahrain’s licensed digital asset platform, ATM, became a silver sponsor. The company introduced the first tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) with gold-backed tokens in the Kingdom and has been at the forefront of digital asset development in Bahrain. With the goal of democratizing access to formerly illiquid assets through ownership fractionalization and opening up new avenues for business finance by lowering entry barriers and expediting the capital-raising process, ATME was formally introduced at FinTech Forward 2024.
As the greatest contributor to GDP and the backbone of Bahrain’s diversified economy, the financial services industry has the advantages of an agile regulatory framework, a fintech-ready ecosystem, and a workforce that is future-proofed to support development and innovation. Building on this foundation, FinTech Forward 2025 will bring together global governments, regulators, financial firms, and fintech specialists to exchange ideas and discuss the direction of financial innovation, policy, and infrastructure.
