October 16, Manama (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa welcomed Dr. Maher Abdulaziz Al Shaer, Managing Director of Bareeq Al Retaj Company, and Waleed Khaled Al Shariaan, Board Member of Al Sorouh Management Company and Chief Executive Officer of Mabanee Company, the developers of The Avenues in Bahrain and Kuwait.
Deputy Prime Minister receives developers of The Avenues – Bahrain
In order to diversify the country’s economy and increase private sector partnerships, the Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to improving its investment climate and bolstering the elements that draw in high-caliber investments.
He emphasized that these initiatives are in keeping with the objectives of the Kingdom’s overall development, which is headed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directed by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized the government’s ongoing support for large-scale projects, especially in the real estate development industry, by fostering an adaptable business climate that satisfies investor demands and provides cutting-edge infrastructure and laws that encourage creativity and efficiency. He claimed that these initiatives support economic expansion, provide citizens with high-quality possibilities, and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a major regional center for commerce.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended Bahrain and Kuwait’s long-standing and solid relationship, calling it an example of enduring bonds that are still strengthening in a number of areas of growth. He praised the two nations’ collaborative private sector initiatives as effective illustrations of fruitful economic collaboration.
He also cited The Avenues in Bahrain as a prime illustration of a successful public-private cooperation that makes the best use of public land to spur economic expansion. He pointed out that the mall has a prominent position among Bahrain’s commercial hubs and provides a combined shopping and entertainment experience with well-known worldwide brands, which increases its allure as a significant commercial and tourist attraction, particularly after the second phase is finished.
The company’s expansion plans for The Avenues-Bahrain and its upcoming projects in the Kingdom and the surrounding area were explained to Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah.
