Nov. 20, Manama (BNA): Leading nurses and medical experts from Bahrain and overseas attended the Critical, Emergency, and Advance Nursing Conference, which was organized by the Government Hospitals in collaboration with BDA and opened by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health.
SCH Chairman opens Critical, Emergency Care Conference
By showcasing the most recent scientific advancements and cutting-edge techniques in advanced nursing and critical and emergency care, the two-day conference hopes to improve knowledge sharing between medical and nursing professionals and promote the development of healthcare services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The chairman emphasized that the conference offers a crucial scientific forum that brings together specialists in areas directly related to the standard of patient care. He praised the work of government hospital nurses and their essential role in the healthcare system, especially in emergency rooms and intensive care units.
He pointed out that improving critical and emergency care nursing skills is a crucial component of raising the standard of healthcare, demonstrating Bahrain’s dedication to implementing global best practices and consistently improving patient services.
According to Hanadi Ibrahim Aish, General Head of Nursing Services for the Centers of Excellence at Government Hospitals, the conference’s objectives are to improve nursing capabilities in handling critical and emergency situations and to foster knowledge exchange.
In order to support ongoing efforts to develop nursing services in government hospitals, she continued, the program includes specialized lectures and workshops given by local and international experts, as well as discussions on the most recent advancements in critical care technologies and rapid response techniques.
