The meeting took place during the annual conference in the United Arab Emirates to honor the center, which was represented by the American Heart Association’s Middle East and North Africa branch (AHA MENA). The center’s efforts to promote best practices and improve the effectiveness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation programs were acknowledged with this award.
This worldwide recognition, according to Dr. Al Jalahma, is a testament to the proficiency and excellence of national cadres as well as their capacity to compete and accomplish noteworthy feats in a variety of regional and global arenas. According to her, funding for training and development is a key component of improving the grade of healthcare services and preparing medical personnel to satisfy the most stringent international standards.
“This recognition serves as an incentive to continue developing training programs and expanding their scope in a manner that supports institutional excellence and sustainable performance development,” she said, expressing pride in the accomplishments of Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Centre for Continuing Education, which adds to the record of national successes in the healthcare sector.
As part of its continued efforts to improve people’s and institutions’ preparedness and fortify their capacity to respond to cardiac emergencies, Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Centre for Continuing Education has successfully trained more than 1,000 participants in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) programs.
As part of its commitment to ongoing development and staying up to date with the most recent international standards, the center has also extended its training programs to include advanced specializations, such as the Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) programs. This has helped to improve healthcare quality and consolidate the highest standards of patient safety.
