Manama, February 24 (BNA): Members of the Bahrain Medical Society’s (BMS) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Association, headed by Dr. Ahmed Malallah Al Ansari, met with Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan to talk about ways to promote specialized services and scientific projects that aim to improve Bahrain’s child health results.

The Minister emphasized the ministry’s continuous efforts to improve children’s and adolescents’ access to healthcare and mental health services, as well as to expand preventive and treatment initiatives in accordance with the highest international medical standards.
Within the ministry’s strategic framework, she emphasized, child health continues to be a national priority, bolstered by the ongoing focus on the Kingdom’s healthcare system. She pointed out that these initiatives are essential to raising healthy generations who can support Bahrain’s ongoing development. She also praised the association’s efforts to increase community awareness and support the mental health of children and adolescents.
Dr. Al Ansari affirmed the association’s willingness to assist national initiatives and programs promoting the wellness of children and adolescents and expressed gratitude for the ministry’s dedication to closer engagement with national experts.
