Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): The Bahrain Farmers’ Market at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel was visited by Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi. In addition to the typical Bahraini breakfast experience, the festival, which takes place every year over a period of six weeks, offers a comprehensive experience that includes handicrafts, fresh seasonal goods, and engaging outdoor recreational activities ideal for all family members.
Tourism Minister visits Bahrain Farmers’ Market at Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Minister Al Sairafi confirmed that by providing a genuine experience that reflects Bahraini identity and cultural traditions, the market enhances the tourism experience and increases the Kingdom’s appeal as a unique destination.
She clarified that the hotel’s farmers’ market serves as a noteworthy example of how to assist regional farmers and business owners while demonstrating how local goods may satisfy the demands of the travel industry. She emphasized that implementing such programs in the hotel industry helps to boost sustainable tourism and the local economy.
The minister went on to say that the market offers a tourist experience based on regional ingredients and connected to Bahraini culture by linking tourists with farmers in an interactive setting where they can learn directly about Bahraini products and their quality.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel’s Bahrain Farmers’ Market, which takes place every Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, will remain open till February 13.
