Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): The inauguration of the eagerly awaited 2026 The first round of this year’s World Series of Darts is called Bahrain Darts Masters, and it features a few of the best players in the world who have traveled to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Stage set for two-day extravaganza in 2026 Bahrain Darts Masters at Terminal 4 by Beyon
The two-day competition will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. on January 15 and 16 at Exhibition World Bahrain’s Terminal 4 by Beyon.
All 16 darts players competing in the tournament attended the ceremonial reception and draw ceremony this evening at Bahrain Rugby Club in Saar, which was held by Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.
Many darts enthusiasts attended the event and had the chance to get signatures and take pictures with their favorite players. During the ceremony, BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and CBX Chief Executive Carlo Boutagy conducted the draw to determine the first-round matchups.
With assistance from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Bahrain International Circuit, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), and sports organizer CBX are organizing the competition.
Luke Littler vs. Paul Lim, Stephen Bunting vs. Ryusei Azemoto, Luke Humphries vs. Abdulla Saeed, Michael van Gerwen vs. Alexis Toylo, Gerwyn Price vs. Motomu Sakai, Nathan Aspinall vs. Lourence Ilagan, Gian van Veen vs. Man Lok Leung, and Danny Noppert vs. Basem Mahmood were the first-round matches that followed the draw.
The Bahrain Darts Masters is a big athletic event that is watched by millions of people worldwide. It is the first event to be held after the 2025/2026 World Championship and formally opens the 2026 World Series of Darts.
