October 21, Manama (BNA): The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) has signed a sponsorship agreement with Investcorp, a global investment management firm that specializes in alternative investments, in accordance with the directives of the REHC’s High Committee, which is chaired by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court. The REHC recognizes the significance of forming local and international partnerships to support the growth of horseracing. This agreement represents yet another significant milestone in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s horse racing industry.
REHC, Investcorp sign agreement for Crown Prince’s Cup Festival
Yusef Al Yusef, Global Head of Distribution at Investcorp, and Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of the REHC, signed the contract. The agreement states that Investcorp will support a Crown Prince’s Cup Festival event in 2025–2026.
In addition to the qualitative growth observed through the Club’s events and international races, Buheji stated that horse racing in Bahrain enjoys a great deal of support and attention. He said that as a result of this development, many organizations and investors from both inside and outside the Kingdom have come to form alliances and sponsorships to support this important sport.
Additionally, Buheji thanked the management of Investcorp for their interest in and dedication to this collaboration, which demonstrates the company’s support of the sports industry. He emphasized that in order to help the Club reach its intended development goals, it is still working to create the perfect climate that makes investing in horse racing more alluring.
Al Yusef expressed his pride in Investcorp’s signing of this partnership with the REHC, highlighting how it supports the company’s dedication to promoting innovative community events and initiatives in the Kingdom, especially those that showcase its rich history and solidify its rising stature in the global sports arena.
He went on to say that Investcorp was inspired to support efforts to promote horseracing in Bahrain since it is a potential industry that is experiencing constant expansion and development.
