Dubai, Jan. 30 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Captain of the Royal Endurance Team and His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, took part in the World Endurance Championship’s international qualifying race at Dubai International Endurance City in the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.

His Highness performed admirably throughout the five stages of the globally recognized three-star event, winning first place in the 160-kilometer race. Mohammed Al Hashmi and Mohammed Abdul Samad, riders from the Royal Endurance Team, also took part in the event.

In appreciation for his participation in Dubai International Endurance City, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Racing Club Shaikh Rashid bin Dalmook Al Maktoum gave His Highness a commemorative present at the end of the race.

His Highness acknowledged that participation in international qualifying races is a component of the preparation program for the forthcoming World Endurance Championship, which is set to take place in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, and expressed gratitude for the United Arab Emirates’ ongoing efforts to advance endurance racing. His Highness emphasized the significance of these occasions in determining horses fit for international competition and evaluating technical preparedness.

The 120-kilometer and 100-kilometer events also featured a number of riders from the Royal Endurance Team.
