Nov. 10, Manama (BNA): The second season of the television show “Qadha” was launched today under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS). Ministers, high-ranking officials, artists, and invited guests attended the ceremony.

The “Qadha” program, according to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, is a ground-breaking endeavor that aims to develop Bahraini youth based on discipline, leadership, commitment, and challenge. According to him, the program develops participants’ leadership, physical, and mental skills through hands-on training that mimics military and disciplinary settings, fostering responsibility, teamwork, and service to the Kingdom.
The second season’s premiere, according to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, is in line with the goal of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, to empower Bahraini youth and bolster their contribution to the country’s development.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasized that investing in Bahraini youth is essential for the Kingdom’s future and for bolstering Bahrain’s regional and international leadership, adding that the initiative offers a unique platform for identifying young talents and unlocking their potential.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also praised the commitment of the production crew, trainers, and participants, pointing out that the second season builds on the success of the first and reflects Bahrain’s mission to equip youngsters as the leaders of tomorrow.
The program’s director and supervisor, Ahmed Al Shaikh, thanked HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his inspiring vision and steadfast support, calling it the engine of the program’s success. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his diligent monitoring and unwavering support of the team.
A behind-the-scenes look at filming and rehearsals as well as an overview of the steps of production were included in the event. The program included 15 field trials, 40 working days, and 60 days of planning and design. 50 events with 100 participants were filmed over ten days at 20 venues, and 1,500 hours of footage and 400 interviews were used in post-production.
On November 13, the second season of “Qadha,” which consists of ten episodes, will debut for free on the Shahid platform.
