Bangkok, Nov. 29 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior powerlifting team’s Major Abdullah Abdulwahab Salmeen took first place in the Asian under-140 kg division. In addition, he won the Overall Champion title at the World Powerlifting Championship for Professionals in Thailand and broke the Asian record in the 240 kg Bench Press.

On this occasion, Public Security Sports Association President Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat thanked Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his unwavering support, pointing out that it is a major factor in the Ministry’s athletic accomplishments.
