Manama, February 7 (BNA) – Bahrain Sports Channel, in collaboration with Tumooh Sport Management and Gulf University, hosted the final episode of the Commentary Star competition, which was attended by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information. The competition was part of the Ministry of Information’s Media Talent Award and Creators Lab initiatives.

Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized the ministry’s dedication to implementing top-notch programs that foster the next generation of national talent, give them chances to hone their abilities, and showcase their creative potential, all while expanding their visibility across a range of media platforms, including sports media.
Noting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s expanding sports industry and the significance of training national media professionals who can keep up with this development, the Information Minister praised the tournament as a premier venue for identifying prospective sports commentary talent. Additionally, he honored the top three winners, the judges, and the competition’s sponsors.
The participants conveyed their gratitude to Dr. Al Noaimi and the government for their ongoing support of these efforts. They also praised the trainers for sharing their knowledge and advice, which enhanced their experience and helped them hone their abilities so they could support Bahrain’s media and sports industries.
50 male and female competitors entered the tournament; they were narrowed down to five finalists over the course of multiple rounds, and three winners were chosen.
In addition, the program featured workshops and training sessions on tactics, refereeing, sports commentary, and the application of artificial intelligence to sports commentary.
