Manama, October 29 (BNA): The winners of the cycling competition held on the Nasser bin Hamad Track along Bahrain Bay Avenue as part of the Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain were crowned by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) for the 3rd Asian Youth Games.

The award ceremony, which was held in a competitive setting that reflected the event’s professional organization and excellent sporting standards, was attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali. His Highness praised everyone’s excellent achievements and sportsmanship while congratulating the top three winners.
Hong Kong’s Wan Chun Lee took home the gold, followed by Kittaphat Homkajorn of Thailand in second and Taha Alkhalifah of Saudi Arabia in third.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali visited the badminton tournaments after the ceremony, where he met a number of authorities and volunteers and received an update on match progress and organizational arrangements within the sports facilities.
His Highness also visited the main media center and operations center of the Games in Isa Sports City, where he learned about media and operational processes as well as the function of organizing teams in guaranteeing the seamless and expert operation of events.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali expressed pride in the accomplishments of the Bahraini teams that organized this continental event, pointing out that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support and the Kingdom’s continuous efforts to promote the youth and sports sectors are reflected in the Games’ successful hosting.
