October 17, Manama (BNA): The closing ceremony of the Elements Jiu-Jitsu Academy Championship was attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, sons of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC). Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, the GSA’s CEO, was also present.

Their Highnesses watched the events on the last day, which demonstrated great technical skill levels and robust participation, demonstrating the continued development of jiu-jitsu in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The winners of the several categories were given awards by HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid and HH Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid at the end of the competition. Their Highnesses received commemorative presents from Ali Monfaradi of Elements Academy as a thank you for their support and presence.
Their Highnesses were proud of the athletes’ exceptional results and praised the spirit of competition and perseverance that pervaded the competition. They emphasized how crucial it is to keep hosting events like this, which support local sports cultures and inspire young people to take up martial arts, such as jiu-jitsu.
