August 24, Manama (BNA): The Bahrain Handball Federation and the Equal Opportunities and Gender Balance in Sports Committee met in coordination to explore ways to promote women’s participation in sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to grow the handball game.
Equal Opportunities Sports Field Committee discusses handball development with Bahrain Handball Federation
The gathering, which was held at the Bahrain Handball Federation’s offices, covered the game’s current status as well as the primary difficulties and roadblocks that it faces. Additionally, it offered ideas and workable solutions to improve the organizational and technical caliber of women’s events and increase participation across the board.
The talks emphasized how crucial it is for the pertinent parties to work together in order to create a safe and inspiring athletic environment that promotes Bahraini women’s empowerment in the sport.
Salama Mohammed Atiq and Wafa Ibrahim Al Jazzaf from the Equal Opportunities Committee attended the meeting, and Zahra Qaed, a member of the board of directors from the Bahrain Handball Federation, also attended.
In order to achieve gender parity in the sports industry, the Equal Opportunities Committee reaffirmed its support for all initiatives and strategies linked to this goal, highlighting the significance of ongoing collaboration with national sports federations.
