Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): In keeping with Bahrain’s rising prominence in Asian sports, the Ministry of Information declared that it is prepared to arrange extensive media coverage of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 22 to October 31, 2025.

According to the ministry, up to 30 sports and more than 141 events for both men and women will be covered live during the tournament on Bahrain Sports 1 and 2 and Bahrain International channels. A daily show featuring Bahraini sports figures and analysts will air at 9:30 p.m., hosted by sports journalists Mariam Bukamal, Fawaz Al Abdulla, Isa Sharaida, and Mohamed Abdulghaffar. The show will review results, analyze performances, and highlight related activities from the viewpoints of volunteers, organizers, and participants.

With the help of a recently opened sports studio equipped with cutting-edge technology to capture the spirit of the continental event and showcase the Kingdom’s illustrious hosting standards as a top Asian sports destination, the coverage will feature live field reports and correspondents across venues to provide real-time updates.

“With an integrated plan to produce around 4,000 digital content pieces, incorporating artificial intelligence technologies and a strategic partnership with TikTok to enhance engagement with regional and international audiences,” the ministry continued, adding that its digital platforms will be crucial in showcasing the tournament globally.

In order to guarantee top-notch broadcasting, the ministry set up a fully furnished international broadcast center and outfitted sporting stadiums with the newest worldwide technology to offer consistent, excellent coverage of all contests and associated events.

In addition to showcasing Bahrain‘s largest-ever participation in the Asian Youth Games and the Kingdom’s exceptional organizational efforts that reflect its illustrious reputation in Asia and beyond, the ministry confirmed that its media teams will work around the clock to cover competitions and related events.
