In a 4 km race, the camel “Al Shahiniya” won the first cup, along with “Samsam” and “Sayhad,” who finished second and third, respectively.

These successes add to Bahraini camels’ stellar record in regional competitions, which began with “Al Sarea’s” earlier victory in the open category.

The Saudi Camel Federation organizes the biggest event of its kind globally, with hundreds of races in several categories and prizes worth over SAR 50 million. It demonstrates the region’s dedication to conserving and advancing traditional sports and draws a large number of Gulf and Arab camel owners.
