In the second and third sets, Bahrain put up a fierce fight, and the set scores were 25–18, 26–24, and 25–23.
Iran defeated Bahrain in the girls’ volleyball tournament in straight sets.
In beach volleyball, the girls’ team fell 0–2 to the Maldives (21–9, 21–12), and the boys’ squad started the season with a 0–2 loss to Sri Lanka (22–20, 21–7).
