Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): At the 3rd Asian Youth Games, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s handball team defeated the Maldives 74–13 in their second group-stage match. The game took place at the Handball Federation Hall in the Isa Sports City Complex, Umm Al Hassam.

After a solid effort and total command of the game in both attack and defense, Bahrain led 34–6 at the half.

The result puts the Kingdom at the head of their group with four points, underlining their readiness and intentions to contend for a new Asian medal in this edition of the competition.

Utilizing their superior technical skills and experience, the team had little trouble securing the outcome. In order to prepare for more difficult games in the future, the coaching staff also used the game to give every player playing time and foster even more unity.
