The program intends to support students in making informed academic and professional decisions by giving them with vital insights and information on significant economic sectors, high-demand vocations, and the educational pathways that lead to them. These insights are made available through the Employability Skills Portal (www.esp.bh), that acts as a national reference point that provides students and parents with current, data-driven information on new jobs, labour market trends, and relevant career pathways. In addition to a thorough database of colleges and other educational establishments, the portal offers interactive dashboards that cover the workforce across important industries, income levels, and academic specializations.

The program engaged more than 5,000 male and female students from 38 public schools, allowing them the opportunity to study future labour market trends and learn how these insights might drive their academic and professional choices in harmony with national development requirements.

Commenting on the initiative, Ibrahim Ali Al Burshaid, Assistant Undersecretary for Education at the Ministry of Education, stated: “This joint campaign reflects the Ministry’s commitment to raising students’ awareness of labour market requirements and empowering them to plan early for their future careers. Through strategic partnerships with national entities, including Skills Bahrain, we are working to prepare students for fields and skills that align with Bahrain’s development priorities.”
