Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): The second group of Consumer Protection Ambassadors was honored by Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro.
Industry Minister meets graduates of second batch of consumer protection ambassadors
The minister remarked that Bahraini youth’s activities demonstrate responsibility, awareness, and a strong sense of belonging and expressed pride in their active engagement in this national endeavor.
He clarified that through training, field trips, and creative outreach initiatives, the Consumer Protection Ambassadors program—which was started by the Consumer Protection Directorate in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs—aims to increase consumer awareness and enable young people to play a crucial role in defending consumer rights.
Minister Fakhro also praised community partners, such as Jahez International for providing participants with financial support and Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons for giving training and employment opportunities.
He emphasized that student participation in the program cultivates a generation conscious of consumer rights and capable of making responsible, well-informed decisions that benefit society.
