Nov. 26, Manama (BNA): In an effort to build national capabilities and support specialized legal programs, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Euro University of Bahrain (EUB) to strengthen joint scientific collaboration and professional collaboration in legal studies and professional training.

Andrew Nix, President of EUB, and Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf, signed the memorandum.
Through collaboration on the Professional Legal Practice Certificate (PLPC), which gives trainees the knowledge and abilities necessary for successful legal practice, the agreement seeks to support initiatives that train and qualify national legal talent in accordance with international standards.
In accordance with international educational and professional standards, the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI) and EUB will collaborate under the MoC to create English-language academic resources covering a range of legal themes that will be presented within the Institute’s professional and training programs.
Additionally, both parties will share their knowledge of legal education and training, including how to create and administer specialized courses and organize relevant events. In order to enhance its ability to offer cutting-edge programs that satisfy the demands of the legal field, the institution will also share its expertise in digital transformation, multimedia, and information technology.
In addition to highlighting the ministry’s dedication to enhancing collaboration with academic institutions in order to promote national legal capabilities, Minister Al Maawda emphasized the significance of the partnership in supporting legal and professional development programs.
Nix, for his part, emphasized the university’s dedication to promoting contemporary legal education and training professionals who can stay up to date with advancements in the field.
