Bahrain, October 19 (BNA): As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness among potential students and their families about the academic pathways and career options in hospitality and hotel management, Vatel Bahrain organized an Open Day. The college’s open days for this academic year come to a conclusion with this event.
Vatel Bahrain hosts Open Day to promote hospitality education
The purpose of the event was to give attendees an immersive experience that would allow them to learn more about Vatel Bahrain’s cutting-edge academic programs and delve into the world of luxury hospitality.
An overview of Vatel Bahrain’s Bachelor’s and recently launched Master’s programs in International Hotel Management, which combine cutting-edge theoretical study with practical training in prestigious hotels around the world, kicked off the event. Next, guests were given a guided tour of the hotel’s departments, which gave them an inside look at how luxury hospitality operations are run. Finally, networking with faculty, alumni, and industry experts took place at the end.
The Open Day, according to Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, demonstrates the college’s continued dedication to introducing its academic programs to potential students looking for specialized career paths in the hospitality, tourism, and related industries. He also pointed out that these sectors offer significant growth potential and a steady need for qualified professionals.
A key component of Vatel Bahrain‘s curriculum, which combines classroom instruction with practical training supervised by professionals in the field, the event exposes attendees to the vibrant hospitality business and gives them the knowledge and abilities they need to reach worldwide standards.
In addition, Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa praised the strategic cooperation with Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, highlighting its contribution to the labor market by preparing a highly skilled workforce.
The general manager of the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq, Mehdi Hanayen, emphasized the hotel’s dedication to educating the next generation of hospitality leaders and improving industry standards in the region by working with Vatel Bahrain.
