Manama, March 18 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has confirmed that no unusual radiation levels have been found in Bahrain’s airspace or territorial waters as part of its ongoing evaluation of regional developments and in response to the recent Iranian attack on the Kingdom.

The Council stated that, in collaboration with pertinent national organizations, monitoring operations are carried out continuously via a nationwide network of environmental and radiation sensors. It further stated that in order to guarantee accurate and fast tracking of any developments, close communication is maintained with the GCC Emergency Management Center as well as with specialized regional and international organizations, such as the International Atomic Energy Agency.

It emphasized that there is presently no reason for concern by confirming that all environmental and radiological indicators are still within safe and normal ranges.

The Council emphasized its commitment to providing prompt updates in the event of any new developments and urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading rumors or unconfirmed stories.
