Manama, Dec. 4( BNA) During the fourth meeting of the Bahrain- Saudi Coordination Council, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a memorandum of understanding( scowl) was inked between the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications of Bahrain and the Saudi Railway Polytechnic( SRP).

The MoU was inked by Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, on behalf of Bahrain, and by Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, Minister of Investment, on behalf of Saudi Arabia.

Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed said the scowl reflects the integrated vision participated by the two countries and underlines the common commitment to enhancing mortal capacities and developing transport systems, particularly in the road sector, which is witnessing rapid-fire growth in the region.

He explained that the agreement will support the development of public capabilities through specialised training programmes handed by SRP, using its moxie in operating, maintaining and managing road systems. This will strengthen the readiness of public labor force and support the conditions of unborn road systems.

Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed added that the cooperation represents an important step in enhancing specialized and knowledge collaboration between the two sides. It also serves as a crucial support for GCC connectivity and integration systems, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to erecting strategic hookups that develop the transport and logistics sector and produce farther openings for invention and advancement, in line with the directives of the leadership in both countries.
