Manama, April 4 (BNA): The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) released its 2025 annual report, detailing its initiatives and successes in community empowerment, orphan and widow care, and humanitarian activities throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The results show the backing of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Foundation’s Honorary President, and the ongoing support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, according to Ibrahim Delhan Al Doseri, Acting Assistant Secretary-General of RHF. Additionally, he emphasized the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RHF and Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, pointing out that initiatives are in line with a strategy centered on investing in people and improving their quality of life.
According to the report, there were 10,857 sponsored widows and orphans in 2025, increasing the total number of beneficiaries since the Foundation’s founding to 31,794. Additionally, RHF conducted 180 programs and activities that benefited 6,878 participants, delivered 2,458 school bags, and awarded academic prizes and scholarships to 76 kids.
RHF provided specialized family counseling programs that helped 490 people. Humanitarian aid, comprising living, medical, marriage, debt reduction, and educational help, was given to 4,480 recipients.
In the healthcare sector, RHF performed 16 cochlear implant surgeries, supplied 86 insulin pumps for children, and provided integrated medical services that helped hundreds of people.
In terms of economic empowerment, 397 participants benefited from 25 training programs and 2,765 goods produced by the Natij Khair Bahrain Center. During the holy month of Ramadan, the center also cooked over 20,450 Iftar dinners, demonstrating its support for working families and economic engagement.
The report also emphasized RHF’s institutional success, which included winning multiple national and international awards and being classified as a Gold Category under the Government Service Centers Evaluation Program. It highlighted the growth of community involvement through 55 collaborations with different organizations.
Additionally, RHF expanded its media exposure through awareness campaigns and programs showcasing humanitarian assistance, and it continued its humanitarian relief activities outside of Bahrain, delivering aid to impacted areas, including the Gaza Strip.
The Foundation keeps expanding its services and programs to serve various societal groups and in accordance with national priorities.
