Manama, February 20 (BNA): The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has sent an urgent relief consignment in collaboration with Operation “Gallant Knight 3” and the Emirates Red Crescent in the United Arab Emirates, per the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Foundation, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
RHF sends 100-ton urgent relief consignment to Gaza
Essential food items, medications, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies for women and children make up the 100-ton shipment.
The urgent action, according to RHF Acting Secretary-General Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, embodies the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering humanitarian stance and translates the Royal vision to support the Palestinian people during the dire humanitarian situations they are facing. The Foundation continues to carry out its humanitarian mission in accordance with Bahrain’s long-standing policy of providing aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza to help alleviate their challenging living conditions, he said, underscoring Bahrain’s dedication to just causes, chief among them the Palestinian cause.
Al Doseri went on to say that sending the aid during the holy month of Ramadan has significant humanitarian implications and upholds the Bahraini people’s compassion and unity.
