The purpose of the marathon was to establish community ties with organizations that support the insulin pump effort and help supply children with type 1 diabetes with life-saving devices.

Along with healthy food options from partner businesses, the program featured races for kids, adults, and persons with disabilities. Additionally, a number of medical professionals were on hand to provide health advice, perform basic medical examinations, and spread knowledge about insulin pump technology.

At the event‘s conclusion, awards were given to the winners and the sponsoring organizations—Bahrain National Holding, Aramex, Bapco Engineering, Mini Bites, and Abdali Al Daisani Company—were acknowledged.
