Dec. 21, Manama (BNA): As part of the ministry’s continuous monitoring of the activities of youth teams formed at model and specialized youth centers and its efforts to strengthen their role in developing youth work, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received the Creative Pioneers Team at the Muharraq Model Youth Center.

According to Minister Tawfiqi, the creation of the Creative Pioneers Team is a reflection of the ministry’s strategic direction to increase youth participation, empower them, and give them the opportunity to be influential and motivating leaders in the development of youth center strategies as well as active partners in the creation and execution of programs that are in line with the goals and ideas of young people.
The National Strategy for Youth Empowerment (2023–2028), which serves as an ambitious roadmap aimed at empowering Bahraini youth and enhancing their effective participation in developing youth programs and initiatives, serves as the foundation for the ministry’s clear strategy, she explained, helping to prepare a generation capable of innovation and competitiveness.
The minister went on to say that the ministry is eager for young people to play a crucial role in decision-making, policy creation, and program launches, pointing out that the Creative Pioneers Team initiative was launched as an integrated framework that provides young people with genuine space to innovate, carry out youth programs, and transform their ideas into workable projects.
She acknowledged the team’s capacity to provide creative and unique initiatives that support a range of youth tracks and programs and contribute to improving the caliber of services offered to kids, expressing complete confidence in their talents.
The team made a number of youth ideas during the discussion with the goal of raising the caliber of the center’s scientific and technological programs. These programs serve to increase engagement and innovation in a variety of sectors by teaching and empowering young people, enhancing their skills, and developing their capacities.
The Creative Pioneers Team expressed gratitude to the minister for her unwavering support and confidence in their abilities, stating that the meeting gave them more inspiration to keep coming up with new ideas and producing high-caliber projects that support the growth of youth programs and initiatives.
