Dec. 7, Manama (BNA): Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, the Attorney General, attended an event sponsored by the Public Prosecutor’s Office to honor partners of its Social Care Initiative “Riaya” as part of its efforts to improve community relationships.

This year, the program has provided educational, health, psychiatric, and social services to 892 cases, comprising 522 children, 82 women, 138 men, and 44 families.
The “Riaya” initiative uses an integrated approach to monitor beneficiaries during criminal proceedings or the Reform and Rehabilitation Center’s sentence execution. It also conducts social and psychological assessments to determine the reasons behind offenses and collaborates with pertinent authorities to offer comprehensive support that addresses social, psychological, and financial needs.
