Additionally, he praised the assistance of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) Advisory Council and Consort of His Majesty the King.

According to Al Mubarak, Mara’ee is a scientific, technical, investment, and family-focused event that highlights national initiatives to boost agricultural and livestock production and food security, as well as Bahrain’s capacity to hold large exhibitions.

An outline of the forthcoming edition was given by Asim Abdulatif Abdullah, Chairman of the organizing committee and Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth Affairs. In order to promote Mara’ee as a complete family destination, he continued, the exhibition would also feature an arts and culture section, a children’s play, horse and animal performances, family entertainment areas, and food vendors. The event, he said, demonstrates Bahrain’s efforts to improve livestock and agricultural production and strengthens its standing as a regional center for investment and innovation in these fields.
