Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): During the holy month of Ramadan, a number of eServices and features were added to the MyGov app as part of the Information & eGovernment Authority’s (iGA) ongoing efforts to improve user experience. This service demonstrates iGA’s dedication to providing eServices that live up to user expectations by enabling smooth access for citizens and residents.

The Adhan sound notification feature, which was added in response to user requests given through the Tawasul system and the iGA’s social media accounts, is now available to app users, the iGA noted. As part of the app’s continuous development path, this feature has been in line with the #ItsEasier campaign since the app’s introduction, meeting user expectations and improving the caliber of digital services offered to them.

By choosing prayer times on the app’s main page and then selecting the Adhan settings to personalize this function to their liking, citizens and residents can enable the Adhan sound notifications.

The iGA added that in addition to services provided in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, the MyGov app offers a number of additional digital services, such as the ability to find Ramadhan majlis throughout the governorates. In addition to the “Fa’el Khair” service offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior via the app’s home page, these services include paying Zakat and charitable donations, finding mosques by governorate, prayer timings, Qibla direction, daily moon phase, and both Gregorian and Hijri calendars.

The public is urged by the iGA to upgrade the MyGov app via the iOS, Android, and Huawei app stores on their smart devices, or by going to the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps.

Customers can follow the Authority’s official social media accounts @igabahrain for the most recent updates, submit suggestions or feedback through the national suggestion & complaints system “Tawasul” or Tawasul mobile app, or call the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001 for questions or more information about the MyGov app services.
