Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): The Interior Ministry announced a ban on maritime movement for seafarers using fishing and recreational vessels as part of the measures taken to protect Bahrain’s coasts in light of the obvious Iranian aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain, using missiles and drones, and the grave risks this poses to the safety of citizens and residents.
MOI announces maritime ban effective today until further notice
Starting tonight and continuing until further notice, the prohibition will run from 06:00 PM (18:00) to 04:00 AM (04:00). As seen in the accompanying map, the ruling is an extension of earlier rulings governing maritime mobility.
Confirming that these actions are being taken as part of efforts to improve maritime safety and raise preparedness under the current circumstances, the Interior Ministry urged all seafarers to adhere to the maritime ban timings and avoid approaching the coasts in order to ensure their safety and avoid legal accountability.
