Manama, February 25 (BNA): The Bahrain Scientific Centre for Sustainable Development Goals hosted the periodic meeting of the Youth Empowerment Committee in the public and commercial sectors, which was led by Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi.

Through the creation of strong partnerships, the introduction of high-impact projects, and the provision of useful frameworks that allow young people to move from participation to leadership and significant impact across a range of sectors, Minister Tawfiqi reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to further enhancing youth participation across the Kingdom’s national development pathways.
The minister emphasized the Committee‘s desire to improve coordination and integration between public and private sector organizations in a way that favors the development of high-quality policies and programs meant to increase youth involvement in a variety of fields. She pointed out that these initiatives support young people’s role as active participants in decision-making processes and contributors to quickening the pace of national growth.
She also emphasized that a friendly and enabling atmosphere that promotes innovation and creativity while opening up wide vistas for growth and advancement is necessary for youth empowerment. She emphasized the significance of promoting concepts and programs that establish young people as powerful role models with the ability to have a long-lasting and constructive influence on society.
A number of agenda topics were discussed, chief among them being an evaluation of the progress made and a follow-up on the implementation of the Committee’s recommendations. Participants also looked at a set of suggested qualitative projects aimed at empowering young people, honing their abilities, and fostering their capacity for creativity and leadership in a variety of fields.
The meeting also covered subjects to maximize youth participation, showcase their national efforts, and highlight their crucial position in the Kingdom’s all-encompassing development process. This demonstrates the Committee’s continued dedication to promoting youth-friendly policies and initiatives and strengthening their position as crucial collaborators in determining the future of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
