A number of infractions pertaining to the provisions of various regulatory laws, particularly the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Residency Laws, were also monitored as a result of the inspection campaigns and visits, and it was noted that legal action was taken in response to the infractions.
In addition to 31 joint inspection campaigns, 17 campaigns in the Capital Governorate, 4 campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate, 4 campaigns in the Northern Governorate, and 6 campaigns in the Southern Governorate, the LMRA reported that 1,321 inspection visits were conducted on various shops across all governorates.

In order to strengthen inspection campaigns in every governorate of the Kingdom and to deal with any infractions or practices that compromise the stability and competitiveness of the labor market or jeopardize the Kingdom’s economic and social security, the LMRA confirmed the continuation of cooperative coordination with government agencies.
The LMRA reiterated its appeal to the public to assist government agencies in combating unlawful labor practices by reporting infractions through the government’s Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), the authority’s call center at 17506055, or the electronic form on the authority’s website, www.lmra.gov.bh.
