According to Undersecretary for Land Transport and Postal Affairs Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, the program is a component of the ministry’s efforts to involve young people in determining the direction of Bahrain’s transportation industry. She emphasized that students’ inventive ideas will help promote smart and sustainable transport systems that enhance quality of life and encourage digital transformation.

She said that by promoting concepts that lower carbon emissions and boost transportation efficiency, the competition supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those pertaining to innovation, infrastructure, and climate action.

The ministry’s website, www.mtt.gov.bh, is where university students can register. Those who made the short list will be given the opportunity to present their ideas, and in December, the winners will be recognized.
