Nov. 10, Manama (BNA): The signing of the cooperation agreement between Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain (KFH) and the Board of Directors of the “Lamea” National Project was witnessed by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs.

Shadi Zahran, CEO of KFH, and Shaikha Dhuwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairperson of Lamea, signed the contract.

Minister Tawfiqi confirmed that the “Lamea” National Project has consistently been successful in all of its iterations, making it one of Bahrain’s top national programs that helps to develop a creative Bahraini generation capable of leading in a variety of fields and supporting the Kingdom’s development objectives.

She emphasized that Lamea embodies the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, who outlined an ambitious national path intended to empower youth academically, intellectually, and professionally so they can actively participate in Bahrain’s overall development.

The minister went on to say that the collaboration between Lamea and KFH highlights the dedication of both parties to investing in Bahraini young potential and represents the spirit of cooperation between the public and commercial sectors. She also praised KFH’s innovative role in promoting local and national initiatives that help Bahrain’s youth movement grow.

Shaikha Dhuwa bint Khalid expressed delight in Lamea‘s accomplishments in producing exceptional Bahraini youth and reaffirmed the authority’s dedication to forming alliances that foster their professional and academic development. She mentioned that the partnership with KFH will improve training initiatives and encourage young people’s creativity.

Zahran, for his part, emphasized that supporting national projects that empower Bahraini youth is an investment in Bahrain’s future and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to doing so.
