Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): As part of His Majesty the Malaysian King’s official tour to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid a visit to His Majesty King Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
HM King, HM King of Malaysia visit Police Fort
The long-standing links between the two nations and their shared commitment to strengthening these ties for the sake of their peoples were reflected in the discussions between the two presidents.
The Police Fort was then visited by His Majesty the King and His Majesty the King of Malaysia. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, greeted the convoy upon arrival with a mounted police escort.
The guard of honor was given to the two kings after the police band played the national anthems of both nations. After that, the police band performed a celebratory show.
Noting the strength of bilateral ties, especially in the area of security cooperation, His Majesty King Hamad welcomed His Majesty the King of Malaysia to Bahrain.
Additionally, His Majesty praised the commitment and expertise of Bahrain’s security forces and thanked the Minister of Interior for the Ministry’s ongoing growth.
The visitors’ book was signed by His Majesty the King of Malaysia, who expressed his joy at the visit and his admiration for the Ministry of Interior’s advanced level of professionalism. Additionally, he wished for Bahrain’s ongoing development and prosperity under His Majesty the King’s leadership.
Then, on this occasion, His Majesty the King of Malaysia received a commemorative gift.
Following this, discussions were held between HM the King and HM the King of Malaysia, highlighting their close ties and shared resolve to strengthen them as well as to promote collaboration and teamwork in all areas that serve their common interests.

The interior minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, honored HM King Sultan Ibrahim and his entourage with a luncheon. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the leader of the Mission of Honour and His Majesty the King’s personal representative, attended the luncheon.
